Motorists Advised of Hotel Rio Drive Closure for Bridge Work

The closure schedule for bridge repair work on Hotel Rio Drive has been revised. Motorists are advised of the following updated schedule for closures to accommodate the work, which is expected to be complete by Dec. 15:

  • Thursday, Dec. 7, 4 a.m. to Friday, Dec. 8, 6 p.m. – full closure of Hotel Rio Drive between Dean Martin Drive and Flamingo Road.
  • Monday, Dec. 11 4 a.m. to Friday, Dec. 15, 6 p.m. – full closure of Hotel Rio Drive.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes while work is in progress. Suggest alternate routes include Valley View Boulevard for north-south travel and Twain and Harmon avenues for east-west travel. For updates on lane restrictions and road work occurring around the Las Vegas Strip visit Check navigation apps such as Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps to have the latest real-time information available as you head out.
