ATTENTION:

County Equestrian Facilities Closure:

Based on the recommendation of the Nevada Department of Agriculture, Clark County equestrian facilities are closed pending further guidance from the State Veterinarian following the detection of the EHV-1 virus in Nevada.
As a precaution, the closures include:

Horseman's Park, 5800 E. Flamingo Road

Lone Mountain Park Equestrian Arena and pens, 4425 N. Jensen St.

Western Trails Equestrian Facility, 7500 Cameron St.

Clark County Fairgrounds, 1301 W. Whipple Ave., in Logandale, Nev.

Peace Park Arena, 650 W. Quartz Ave., in Sandy Valley

As an additional precaution, County maintenance staff have applied extra treatments of disinfectant at all our equestrian facilities. The facilities are treated regularly to prevent the spread of bacteria and disease as part of our maintenance protocols.

These temporary closures will be in effect through Monday, March 25, pending further updates from the Nevada Department of Agriculture. More information is available on the NDA's website:
