​Due to continuing concerns about the spread of coronavirus,
Clark County facilities and programs are closed/canceled until further notice. 

At this time, outdoor park spaces will remain open to the public, although any visitors are strongly encouraged to follow health officials' recommendations regarding social distancing and other precautions https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html

Clark County is taking proactive steps out of an abundance of caution to help reduce the possibility of community spread of the virus.
County officials are continuing to monitor the coronavirus situation in coordination with state, local and federal health officials and will keep the public advised of any updates.

During the closures, additional measures will be taken to do some proactive cleaning of counters, work stations and computer labs during the closure. Clark County has taken this step, in addition to recent cancellations of events and activities, out of an abundance of caution to help reduce the possibility of community spread of the virus. Clark County officials are continuing to monitor the coronavirus situation in coordination with state, local and federal health officials and will keep the public advised of any updates. As a result of coronavirus concerns, Clark County has implemented additional cleaning and sanitizing efforts in all our facilities. Hand sanitizer stations have been added in some areas, and signage has been posted throughout county buildings encouraging regular hand washing, good cough and sneeze etiquette, and other recommended hygiene practices to limit the spread of viruses.

As a result of the growing coronavirus situation, Wetlands Park has canceled all scheduled upcoming public programs and events until further notice. 

Park trails and trailheads are open dawn to dusk, and maintenance operations continues to take place daily.

!Park Notices!

Trails and trailheads are open dawn to dusk. Park restrooms will open beginning  June 1, 2020. The Exhibit Hall, Nature Store and Picnic Cafe at the Nature Center are closed until further notice. The Auditorium and restrooms at the Nature Center will be open beginning June 1, 2020 from 10am - 3pm. Posted May 30, 2020.

The Loop Trail is not paved in its entirety. The Loop Trail is paved from Neighborhood Park to Pabco Trailhead (approximately Mile 11.5). The trail is unpaved from Pabco Trailhead to Mile 14, where the Loop Trail meets Wetlands Park Lane. Some flooding and rough terrain may be encountered at about Mile 13.5 and may be inpassible. Use caution. Please review the Park Map to plan your visit. Posted April 18, 2019.

The Sunrise Trailhead and restrooms are currently CLOSED due to vandalism. Visitors may park near the trailhead entrance on E. Hollywood Blvd. Posted May 24, 2017.
