CALL FOR ART INSTRUCTORS

Clark County Public Arts is seeking professional artists and art instructors to submit workshop proposals for youth art education 2019/20. Workshop proposals must be unique and creative, and may include art from all media types. Workshop instructors are to be paid $350 for their lesson plan, class, necessary materials/supplies, as well as prep and clean up.
About Clark County Public Arts
Clark County Public Art Youth Workshops aims to engage and connect youth through education and meaningful experiences in the arts. The Clark County Parks & Recreation facilities include creative workshop spaces at our many recreation centers throughout the valley. Our goal is not only to teach art to youth; but to expose these students to working art professionals
Proposal Criteria and Requirements
- Must be a Clark County Resident at least 18 years of age.
- Workshop proposals must be creative, unique, engaging and age appropriate.
- Lesson(s) must include 30 minutes of prep time, 20 minutes for Q & A and 30 minutes to clean up. Please submit a detailed schedule.
- Instructors must have a professional background as an artist or arts educator, higher education in the arts, or commensurate experience.
