`Cultures of Las Vegas: The French' Debuts July 1

"Cultures of Las Vegas: The French," a discussion of all things French in the Las Vegas Valley and beyond, will debut on Clark County Television (CCTV) Wednesday, July 1 at 7 p.m. and will air throughout July, which is French-American Heritage Month. France's national day, Bastille Day, is July 14.

Guest moderated by KSNV Channel 3's Chloe Beardsley, the show features Claudine Escobar-Durand
Executive Director, Alliance Française de Las Vegas; Maggie, owner of La Maison de Maggie;
Sébastien Thévenin, Honorary Consul, Consular Agency of France to Las Vegas - Southern Nevada; David Perisset, Co-Founder of Exotics Racing; Chef Vincent Pouessel, Mon Ami Gabi; and Alain Visinoni,
Regency Wines Nevada Inc.

"I had such a wonderful time filming the Cultures of Las Vegas: The French segment. I grew up speaking French and have family living outside of Paris and in the south of France." said Beardsley. "This was an amazing opportunity to explore my roots as well as showcase French people living here in Las Vegas. We have a very big group of talented French business owners, performers, entrepreneurs and chefs here in Las Vegas."

"The contributions of the French to world history and culture are remarkably extensive and I'm glad we can showcase their impact on Southern Nevada," said Erik Pappa, the County's director of Public Communications. "I want to thank Channel 3's Chloe Beardsley for moderating this discussion as well as the panelists for their insights."
