Clark County is hosting its annual Small Business Expo on May 23, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Westgate Las Vegas resort Grand Ballroom, located at 3000 Paradise Road.
Many of the exhibitors are businesses that have completed the Clark County Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP) designed to help businesses compete for contracts.
We have invited local government, casino and utility purchasing agency buyers and their agency decision-makers to participate by attending the Expo to network with these businesses and discuss possible business opportunities.
Local citizens and individuals looking for small businesses to perform services are also welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
"Clark County spends millions of dollars a year on supplies and services and we'd like as much of that as possible to go to Southern Nevada businesses," said Commissioner Lawrence Weekly. "We also want to ensure that disadvantaged businesses have an opportunity to compete for the County's business, which is why an event like this can be so helpful."
Representatives will be available to provide information on how to become a supplier in the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) supplier database. Advanced registration to attend the event is not required. For more information, please call (702) 455-2897. The event is organized by the County's Department of Administrative Services, Purchasing and Contracts Division.
