Coordinated Entry for homeless individuals represents a single point of entry or “hub” for assessment of client services, Coordinated Entry is Southern Nevada’s strategy for a more efficient system to assist households experiencing homelessness access housing services. The goal is to connect homeless individuals with available support as quickly as possible.

Clark County Social Service (CCSS) serves as the coordinated intake hub in Southern Nevada for single adults without children. Individuals will be evaluated comprehensively for services available through CCSS, the Continuum of Care and in the community. LINK in partnership with HELP of Southern Nevada, is a joint homeless outreach and services effort, to provide homeless street outreach and immediate bridge housing to individuals with high priority on the community queue who are chronic homelessness and disabled. LINK provides temporary emergency shelter to single adults who are chronically homeless in the community along with case management services to acclimate individuals into housing within the community and to obtain documents needed to transition into appropriate housing programs within the community. LINK is a temporary emergency shelter program that works to transition individuals into supportive housing within 90 days of LINK program enrollment.

Eligibility
To be eligible for LINK services individuals must be chronically homeless as defined by HUD, have a disability and be willing to complete the necessary tasks to transition into housing programs.

How to apply
Individuals who are homeless should be referred to a Coordinated Entry site to complete the required assessments after which they will be referred to the Community Queue to await a referral for the LINK housing program.

The STAR (Stability, Tenancy, Access, Restore) Rapid Rehousing program is a collaborative supportive housing project between Clark County Social Service (CCSS) and community organizations who intend to address the housing needs of non-chronically homeless Clark County residents. CCSS receives referrals for this program through hospitals, psychiatric facilities, and jails throughout Clark County. The program aims to provide frequent visitors of these facilities with the supportive housing and wrap around supportive services necessary to become stable and address the underlying causes of homelessness. Clients are referred through Coordinated Entry.

The STAR (Stability, Tenancy, Access, and Restore) Permanent Supportive Housing program provides housing assistance and supportive services to Clark County households with at least one member (adult or child) with a disability. The duration of rental assistance is based upon the household's ongoing housing needs. Housing services are linked to intensive case management and wraparound services to support a client’s transition to permanent housing and promote ongoing stable housing. All clients are referred through Coordinated Entry.

An annual resource fair held every November by the Nevada Homeless Alliance for Clark County homeless and low-income individuals. Services provided aim to break down barriers to housing and self-sufficiency, including but not limited to shelter, health care, legal issues, job readiness, food, and behavioral health.
