Mission: The Community Housing Office is committed to improving people’s lives by developing partnerships, supporting sustainable neighborhoods,
and accountably leveraging resources for the creation of attainable housing and programs that will positively impact low-to-moderate income residents of Clark County.
About Us
Clark County’s Community Housing Office (CHO) was created to help fund and incentivize the creation of additional attainable housing units in Southern Nevada and to support a safe, healthy, and economically stable community through the administration of federal, state, and local grants.
The CHO specializes in the oversight of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) entitlement grants including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). The CHO also administers the Welcome Home Community Land Trust and the Welcome Home programs supported by the County’s Community Housing Fund. We work hard to practice the highest quality stewardship and oversight over programs that will support community development, address homelessness, and develop affordable and attainable housing.
