The SNCAC has a  Medical Clinic on site.  The Medical team will see children from the ages of 0 to 17 years who are referred by law enforcement or DFS, and have either verbal or non-verbal indicator of sexual abuse, or the sibling(s) of such children, as deemed necessary and appropriate by investigative team members.  This medical assessment is a head to toe exam similar to a pediatric visit with the addition of the sex abuse component.  Lab tests can be conducted during this exam as well.   Prescriptions will be given if necessary.  While the children are never forced to participate in this exam,  these assessments have been a helpful and useful service to families.
