Clark County Social Service offices are closed to the public to ensure we maintain the health and safety of employees as well as residents of Clark County.

However, we are providing assistance and services to citizens in need during this uncertain time by practicing social distancing methods for the safety and well-being of our clients and workers.  Many services and assistance programs are in place to provide families with needed support during the coronavirus pandemic. CARES Housing Assistance Program
The CARES Housing Assistance Program provides rent, mortgage and utilities assistance to Clark County residents who have suffered financial hardship due to COVID-19.  Applicants must meet a certain income level based on their household size, provide documented proof of their financial hardship due to COVID-19, and be Clark County residents.  Recipients of housing vouchers such as Section 8 are not eligible for CHAP assistance.
