2026 Back to School Gear Giveaway for Foster Care
Every child in foster care deserves to walk into a new school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported.
Nearly 1500 youth in foster care will be heading back to school. Show your support by getting involved in the 2026 Back-to-School Gear Giveaway for Foster Care.
For many youth in foster care, school can come with added challenges such as placement changes, instability, trauma, and limited access to basic necessities, making something as simple as a new backpack or school supplies incredibly meaningful.
Back-to-School support helps provide not only the tools needed for success in the classroom, but also a sense of normalcy, confidence, and dignity. For some children, these items may be among the few things they can truly call their own.
Every donation directly helps foster youth start the school year feeling seen, valued, and set up for success.
Clark County Family Services is collecting new and unused backpacks, new and unused school supplies, and new shoes for children in foster care until July 15.
Schedule your donation to Peggy’s Attic
Monetary donations and sponsorships are directed to Share in the JOY, the nonprofit fiscal sponsor of Clark County foster care events.
