GIVE JOY Holiday Toy & Gift Card Drive for Children in Foster Care
For children in foster care, the holidays are filled with big emotions. Many of our children in foster care are processing through trauma, adapting their new surroundings, and feel uncertain about what is going to happen next in their lives.
But together, we can give them something powerful.
We can GIVE JOY!
Together, we can give children a reason to smile, a gift that brightens their spirit, and a reminder that they are loved.

GIVE GIFTS
Collect NEW and UNWRAPPED toys for children ages 0-12 years old or collect gift cards in increments of $25, $50, or $100 for teenagers in foster care. Every donation becomes a symbol of love, strength, and belief that our children are worthy of celebrating. Please register your Toy & Gift Card Drive to receive details like drop-off dates, times, and the location for GIVE JOY.

GIVE TIME
Volunteers sort donations, pack gifts, and help families make special holiday memories when they come to pick up their gifts. Lend your time and energy to GIVE JOY to babies, children, and teens in foster care.
GIVE MONETARY DONATIONS
Your donation of $100 will provide a special toy or gift card to a baby, child, or teenager in foster care in Clark County Family Services foster care this holiday season.
Funding and donations for GIVE JOY are supported by Share in the JOY, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the officially recognized fiscal partner of Clark County Family Services foster care events.

GIVE JOY Toy & Gift Card Drive is an initiative of the Proud Partners of Clark County Foster Care, and is sponsored by Picerne Family Charitable Foundation, Prologis and StageHouse Las Vegas. Funding and donations for GIVE JOY are supported by Share in the JOY, a recognized fiscal partner of Clark County Family Services foster care events. The GIVE JOY community committee includes partners serving children in foster care such as CASA Las Vegas, Eagle Quest, and Raise the Future, and businesses including CREDA, Five Star Moving, Heller Companies, Kevin Randleman Foundation, Patricia Kennedy Real Estate, Picerne, Pinkbox Doughnuts, and Sienna Mortgage, and Statewide Fire Protection. Individuals include Alicia & John Shaw and family, and Florence Lee & Friends. Over 200 toy drive partners and 600 volunteers help GIVE JOY to babies, children, and teens in foster care each holiday season.

Back-to-School Gear Giveaway for Foster Care
Every child in foster care deserves to walk into a new school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported.
Because of the community’s incredible generosity, over 1,500 K-12 students in Clark County foster care started the 2026-2027 school year with the gear, resources, and the confidence they need to succeed.
For many youth in foster care, school can come with added challenges such as placement changes, instability, trauma, and limited access to basic necessities, making something as simple as a new backpack or school supplies incredibly meaningful.
Back-to-School support helps provide not only the tools needed for success in the classroom, but also a sense of normalcy, confidence, and dignity. For some children, these items may be among the few things they can truly call their own.
Led by Clark County Family Services alongside Commissioners Jim Gibson and Marilyn Kirkpatrick, our three-week initiative brought the community together to show these children they are seen, supported, and valued. Thanks to you, we generated nearly $475,000 in donations and in-kind contributions.
