COVID-19 Information

Gov. Steve Sisolak has announced (August 2021) special provisions per Governor Directive 050 creating an exception to masks requirements at certain large indoor events or conventions in counties with substantial or high COVID-19 transmission rates if ALL attendees are vaccinated. Directive 050 allows an option for event organizers/promoters to either require masks indoors for all attendees - regardless of vaccination status - or the event organizer/promoter must ensure that ALL attendees are fully vaccinated. If you are planning an event without masks for more than 4,000 guests, complete and submit the Large Event Masking Exception Form.

For gatherings not meeting the large event requirement, mask mandates in accordance with the Nevada Roadmap to Recovery and Governor Directive 047 remain in effect. People in Clark County and all other Nevada counties with substantially high COVID-19 transmission rates are required to wear face coverings while in public indoor places and crowded outdoor venues regardless of vaccination status. The face covering shall cover the person's nose and mouth. Nevada's position on COVID-19 transmission protections is in line with the July 27 ruling by the Centers for Disease Control. These new Clark County measures also relate to signage to be posted at businesses. County offices are open to the public and services also are available online. Employees are responding to citizens by email, phone and other socially-distant methods.
