Adult Care Services

The Senior Services program by Clark County Social Service (CCSS) is dedicated to supporting low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. Our range of services includes homemaker services, adult day care, and long-term care assistance, all tailored to meet the specific needs of our community members. These programs operate on an income-based model, necessitating a yearly eligibility determination/re-determination for qualification.

The Clark County Social Service (CCSS) Long Term Care (LTC) program provides assistance in securing appropriate long-term care for Clark County residents who are unable to live independently because of medical problems. The types of licenses facilities contracted by CCSS to provide care are: adult day health care facilities, adult group care and assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The Clark County Social Service (CCSS) Homemaker Home Health Aide (HHHA) Program provides short- and long-term homemaking and personal care services to low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. Services include shopping for groceries and medications, meal preparation and planning, laundry, personal hygiene in the form of baths and light house cleaning. The Alternative Health Care (AHC) Program aids the transition from hospital to home and assists the client in returning to living independently. Services include grocery shopping, laundry, prescription pick up, light housekeeping, meal preparation and personal care (bathing, dressing, and grooming). To report Abuse, Neglect, Isolation and Exploitation of individuals ages 18 and older:

  • Please call 911 for all emergencies, or
  • Contact Adult Protective Services at Nevada's Aging and Disability Services Division at (702) 486-6930.
