- Temporary Events
Permitting is a multi-step process and can involve multiple departments or other agencies. Depending on the type of activity that will be conducted at the event or during filming, one or more permits or licenses may be required. If the temporary event crosses jurisdictional boundaries into any of the cities of Henderson, Las Vegas, or North Las Vegas, you will also need to obtain any necessary permits to film or organize an event in the applicable municipality.
Temporary Events
Numerous events are hosted throughout the year in Unincorporated Clark County. Events activities that include selling of any goods or services for exchange or sale, must obtain a business license, including vendors prior to the temporary event. Permanent or Temporary business licenses must first be approved by the Clark County Comprehensive Planning Department. Business license permits are required along with permissions from venues and relevant county departments based on the location. Temporary events that will include liquor must apply for a liquor caterer permit pursuant CCC 8.20.240.
