Building Enterprise Fund Advisory Committee

Overview:
Each local government that creates an enterprise fund pursuant to NRS 354.59891 shall establish an advisory committee to review the operations of , and make recommendations relating to, the enterprise fund. (SB18402995 Nevada State Legislative Session) NRS 354.59893

Committee Members:

The Clark County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) shall appoint not-less-than five (5) members and not-more-than nine (9) members to the BEFAC which must include:

• A representative of the residential construction industry;
• A representative of the commercial development industry; and
• A representative of the construction industry

The composition of the BEFAC may also include a public officer or employee who manages the fiscal affairs of the local government, and a public officer or employee of the local government who directly oversees the operation of the enterprise fund.
