Rick Ramirez Ledesma is a 1^st generation Mexican American/ Chicano photographer born in Oxnard, California. Having spent over a decade in Arizona, he picked up his first digital camera and started documenting the lives of community members. Now living in Las Vegas (2019) he has photographed and collaborated with various communities and organizations within Nevada, helping document current issues and supporting cultural awareness projects and events.

His exhibition, "Nuestra Gente"/"Our People" is a body of photographic work celebrating the vibrant spirit of the Black, Brown, and Native/Indigenous members found in our Las Vegas communities. Through a lens that empowers, enlightens, and encapsulates the essence of our diverse society. Each image portrays the resilience, beauty, and rich heritage found within these communities. From intimate portraits to candid moments, this collection offers a profound exploration of identity, culture and share experiences.
