The Nevada Legislature passed AB298 during the 80th (2019) Session, requiring child welfare agencies to adopt a plan for the recruitment and retention of foster homes, and to publish information on their website regarding such as plan, and other matters relating to children served through child welfare. One such item requiring published information relates to the number of children in Out-of-State (OOS) placements for more than 15 days, including children placed in residential treatment centers/facilities (RTC) during the immediately preceding year.
