Field Trips
Requests for all Field Trips for the 2022-2023 School Year will be accepted by online form on this page. Please note, dates will not be reserved by email or phone call. Before completing the forms below, please be prepared with contact information for your school, principal, and all participating teachers.
Guided Field Trips available for CCSD grades 3-5 only. Guided Field Trips are held on Thursday mornings October through April. Field Trips are all outdoors and there is a maximum of 2 classes/60 students per day.
UPDATE: 8/26/2022: All available dates have been reserved. We are unable to accept additional requests.
Self-Guided Field Trips are offered for all grades including public, private, and home schools. Free.
Self-Guided Field Trips will be scheduled on Wednesdays, October through April. There is a maximum of 2 classes/60 students per day. Wetlands Park staff will present a short Introductory Talk when you arrive. One teacher/leader per 30 students must attend a training class prior to your field trip date. Teacher trainings will be offered on weekends and attendees earn 1 CCSD CU. Training dates will be: Sep. 18, Sep 24, Oct 1, Oct 2, Nov 5, Jan 7, and Feb 4.
UPDATE: 3/15/2023: New Self-Guided Field Trips can no longer be scheduled for the current school year. Signups for the 2023-2024 school year will be available in August 2023.
Virtual Field Trips are free of charge for CCSD or fee-based ($25) for private or home schools. Virtual Field Trips will be scheduled on Tuesdays, October through May. The virtual field trip experience is 30-45 minutes and includes pre-recorded content and live discussion that will take place in your Google Classroom. Content was developed for grades 3-5, but all grades may participate. You may also use this form to request a link to a 15-minute video for your independent use (no fee).

Classroom or Assembly Presentations for CCSD only are available on a limited basis. Please contact us at wetlands@clarkcountynv.gov to invite us for an in-person presentation.
Wetlands Park also offers fee-based private tours for groups of up to 40 participants. Visit groups.ccwetlandspark.com for more information.
