The Clark County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is soliciting to fill two volunteer positions on the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife. The board vacancies for which these appointments will be made are for individuals who are hunters, trappers, and anglers or engaged in ranching or farming in the county. (NRS subsection 501.265 (1). The Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife solicits and evaluates local opinion and advises the Nevada Wildlife Commission on matters relating to Wildlife. The seven appointed members of this board are selected from the sportsman, farming, and ranching community, with one of the members representing the interests of the public of the county. This board receives its mandate from NRS section 501.260, the two vacancies are volunteer positions with a three-year term.

Qualifications, responsibilities and duties of the position are defined in NRS section 501.265 and 501.270. Completed applications must be received no later than close of business, November 19, 2024. Please be advised that a submitted application is subject to the Nevada Public Records Act, and may be provided to the public, and will be circulated as a back-up document for consideration by the Board of County Commissioners for the appointment to the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife.
