Counseling - HCAs

To purchase a home through the Welcome Home CLT, all members on the household who will be applying for the mortgage loan and/or will be on the title for the home, must each attend a Homebuyer Education Session. You must receive a certificate of completion for each of these as you will be required to submit them during the application process.

This program covers the following:

• How to prepare your finances to be in a position to purchase a home
• How to find special programs that can help with closing costs and down payment
• How to navigate the homebuying process
• How to work with a lender and a home inspector
• How to maintain long-term homeownership
