Approval for: Events with the following characteristics:
- temporary tents or structures
- pyrotechnics
- fireworks
- flame throwing
- fire show
- flame effects
- fire performers
- flammable and combustible liquids
- liquefied petroleum gas
- motor vehicle fuel dispensing
- temporary and permanent generators
- mobile food trucks
- outdoor assembly exceeding 1,000 persons or indoor exceeding 300 persons
- high-risk activity, including without limitation, sports or racing
- events during a period of extreme heat or cold or poses environmental hazards
- the average age of attendees is less than 25 years or over 50 years.
- a large number of attendees have acute or chronic illness.
- alcohol is sold at the Special Event or, if the Special Event was held before, there is a history of alcohol or drug use by attendees.
- the density of the number of attendees at the Special Event increases the difficulty in accessing Persons requiring Emergency Medical Care or in transferring those Persons requiring Emergency Medical Care to an Ambulance.
- more than five (5) miles from the closest Receiving Facility
- if the Special Event was held before and there was a history of Significant Number of Patient contacts or Patient Transports.
